Date Modified/Date Picture Taken

Which of these settings is preferrable? I have noted that Date Picture Taken is significantly slower.

Johnnie,
The Date Modified is preferrable because it will analyze thousands of photos nearly instantly. However, if you have modified your pictures by enhancing/resizing etc.... you must use the Date Picture Taken so that you are properly using the correct date/time for making the graphs. The catch is that it takes much longer for the program to read Date Picture Taken than the Date Modified.
