      Assign known distance between two points.  This scales the photograph and shows the total area in the photo.

      Assign forest/forage types to areas of the photograph.

Step 4

      Calculate the total areas for each ground cover type.  The free version has default values of food quantity and bedding availability.  In the full version these values are fully editable.  In addition, you can adjust the dietary requirement for the deer herd in the full version.
